“To solve problems and deliver smarter insights for pet parents,” that’s the mission of Whisker. Today we have Jacob Zuppke, President and COO of Whisker, previously known as AutoPets, a brand that provides endlessly better pet care.

Jacob interviewed for different ad agencies after graduating from college in 2012. He founded a digital marketing agency called Traffic when he realized he wanted to do something of his own. The agency had fast growth, but Jacob had a desire to go beyond marketing. So, in 2015, he moved to the client-side.

The idea to build a business that could sustain itself was an eye-opener for him. He advises other entrepreneurs to don’t be overly data-driven instead use data in the right place.
