Don’t be afraid to take a really fresh approach. In the second half, Keith Belling, Founder and CEO of RightRice remarks that developing RightRice was harder than Popchips as they wanted vegetables and taste and texture in their rice. It took about 9 months to come up with the perfect blend.

In RightRice’s products, 90 percent of the ingredients include vegetables, chickpeas, lentils, and green peas, while less than 10 percent is rice. This makes it healthy and a package of veggie power. Rice can be mixed with anything, so, according to Keith, rice itself has a superpower.

Keith says that creating catchy packaging as well as continuing innovations is essential.
