Monica comes from an e-commerce marketing background. Since nine years of age, she had been struggling with menstruation and extreme mood swings. Monica tried in vain to figure out ways to combat her problems. Doctors suggested she take prescription drugs like antidepressants or birth control to manage hormones, which is not too uncommon for doctors.

However, during her search for a more natural solution, she finally came across supplements. The results she received from the supplements were beneficial and, in some instances, drastic. At that point, Monica, knowing that this was a common problem, resigned herself to help others too. Thus, Marea was born.
