“Love yourself” that’s what the LYS in LYS Beauty stands for. In part 1, we have Tisha Thompson, CEO of LYS Beauty, a clean beauty brand.
Tisha has loved makeup since a young age. She went to college and studied accounting to make her parents proud. But her passion was makeup & beauty products. Coincidentally she started working in the accounting department of a beauty company where she found herself more drawn towards the marketing side of things.
She also felt frustrated due to a lack of representation in the industry. Tisha wanted to diversify the clean beauty space, so she created LYS Beauty early in 2019. According to her, it’s important to embrace yourself, collaborate, be good to others, and your confidence should come without compromise.
