“When you’re launching a brand, it’s major surgery because you’re starting from scratch,” says Suzie Yorke, CEO and Founder of Love Good Fats, a brand that brings healthy, keto-friendly, low carb, and low sugar snack bars.
Suzie plunged into building her own business at 50 years of age. However, she spent 30 years building brands as a brand assistant, VP marketing, CMO in the dietary supplements and weight loss industry. In 2016, she read a book called ‘Big Fat Surprise’ while going to the Natural Product Expo, which eventually led to the idea of Love Good Fats.
She mentions entrepreneurship is high risk and not for the faint of heart.
In part 1, Suzie talks about:
* The Support she received
* The idea behind Love Good Fats
* Her life before the brand
* Her transition from executive to entrepreneur
* Entrepreneurial skills
* Her motivation
* The Speed and Scale mantra
Join Ramon Vela and Suzie Yorke as they break down the inside story on The Story of a Brand.
