Katina started her career in investment banking and then went to graduate school for business. She worked at L’Oreal, two different e-commerce startups, and then launched her first startup. Katina’s family is from Greece, where one of the most popular Greek extra virgin olive oil varieties is produced.

She was frustrated that she couldn’t find great-tasting olive oil in the United States, like in Greece. So she decided to educate consumers on how great olive oil should taste by launching Kosterina. The brand is centered around the blue zone lifestyle such as health, longevity, community, and stress-free life. Their products have high antioxidant extra virgin olive oil from Greece. She believes holding on to the conviction is essential.
