“If there’s such a thing as a luxury brand in peanuts, it would be Hubs,” says Marshall. Today we have Marshall Rabil, Director of sales and Third-Generation owner of Hubs Peanuts, a Virginia peanuts brand.

Marshall’s grandmother used to make blister fried peanuts which are peanuts boiled and then fried. His grandparents started the Hubbard Peanut Company from their home way back in 1954.

Peanuts are a simple and overlooked, inexpensive food source for essential nutrients and minerals. The original plant-based food that’s great for vegans and vegetarians looking for a great source of protein.

He says that business has always been challenging. He also mentions the problems like hurricanes and storms, which damage crops. That’s why making sure the harvest is solid is key to the brand.

In the first part, he talks about:

* Gratefulness
* Overview of the brand
* What were the challenges
* Plant-based perspective
