Alison did her master’s in the food system and sustainability. In 2012, she started Haven’s Kitchen as a cooking school to help people cook. Later, the brand launched its sauces. According to Alison, home cooking is good for personal health, family, community, and the environment.

She has pulled valuable business lessons from sustainability by understanding the connection between cooking and sustainability. She further shares her view on New York, which she believes is the heart of the country that will once again thrive.
