Hema had a love for learning and growing. So when she worked at IBM for 14 years, she worked in various roles such as software development and business development. Seemingly, everything was perfect but what she yearned for was purpose in her life. This questioning led her to her mission: to bring out balanced food to families across America.

In the beginning, she had three concepts for her brand. She thought of either starting a popcorn-based company, a beverage brand, or a frozen food company. Her advice for new entrepreneurs is to start with an end in mind.
