“To create comfort for the modern outdoors” that’s the True Places goal. In part 1, we have Nelson Warley and Ben Knepler, both Co-Founders of True Places, a new direct-to-consumer startup.
Ben and Nelson meet while working together in consumer packaged goods. To build a brand from scratch while connecting with people was an energizing thought that led them to True Places.
They started working full-time on the brand before the pandemic. According to them, figuring out the supply chain and manufacturing during the pandemic was very challenging for the brand. But the business was fortunate to come out at that time.
