“Happiness is within you,” that’s a life lesson Dinesh has learned. In part 1, we have Dinesh Tadepalli, Co-Founder of incrEDIBLE eats, a brand on a mission to reduce and replace single-use plastic cutlery with edible cutlery.
Dinesh came to the US in 2007 to do a master’s in electrical engineering at the University of Southern California. After visiting an ice cream shop, Dinesh was appalled when he noticed a trash can container filled with plastic spoons used once and thrown away.
This was when he decided to study alternatives for plastic, and he soon came across edible spoons. His passion and concern for people and the planet grew seeds of entrepreneurship in his mind, and he decided to launch incrEdible Eats. His brand makes edible cutlery that is natural and GMO-free. It can stay up to 30 minutes in a hot soup or cold dessert.
