“Catering to different health care needs” that’s why Desert Harvest works with doctors from all over the world. Today we have Heather Florio, the CEO of Desert Harvest, a brand that has been manufacturing nutritional supplements and skincare products for consumer health needs for over 28 years.
In 1993, Heather’s parents started Desert Harvest because her aunt was suffering from Interstitial cystitis. She used aloe vera and had promising results. So, her parents decided to create a safe, concentrated version of the Aloe Vera formula.
During the pandemic, the brand had to change its entire model. They experienced an ingredient shortage, made hand sanitizers, and shipping challenges, but they kept going.
She talks about:
* Gratefulness
* Overview of the brand
* Founding of Desert Harvest
* Her mother’s example
* How they made aloe vera safe
* Challenges in pandemic
Join Ramon Vela and Heather Florio as they break down the inside story on The Story of a Brand.
